AT WATERS EDGE

I've always been drawn to water - puddle, pond, tide pool, brook, river, lake or ocean.  I particularly enjoy walking along the shoreline, running in and out of the tide or current and collecting whatever is deposited on the shore.  The shells and rocks take on the significance of jewels for me - beautiful color, texture and pattern, unique form and the glint of a reflection -  as I watch them washed with foam.   It's the challenge of capturing this sense that I've enjoyed pursuing in the work in this gallery.
